WBJEE JELET 2022: A known West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board Joint Entrance Lateral Entrance Examination is mostly held once a year for WBJEE JELET. The examination is started for admission to Bachelor degree courses in Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy except architecture in government and private colleges of West Bengal. The following are the eligibility to apply for the exam and the same is shared below:

Diploma holder:

• Applicants must successfully pass a minimum 45% (40% for reserved category) or equivalent CGPA in the branch belonging to the institute / university approved by AICTE.
• To get admission in Jadavpur University, applicants must have obtained at least 60% aggregate (45% for reserved category) or equivalent CGPA in the branch belonging to the institute / university approved by AICTE.
• There is no upper age limit to apply.
• To get admission in degree course in Pharmacy to Diploma holders in Pharmacy: Applicants should be eligible for admission in the first year if vacancies (lateral entry) in the second year expire

BSC Holders:

• Candidates should have passed B.Sc. from a recognized institution with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category).
• Candidates must have completed class XII with Mathematics as the main subject
• Candidates who have obtained admission must have cleared Engineering Mechanics and Engineering Graphics / Drawing with Second Year subjects.
• Candidates holding BSc are not considered eligible for admission in pharmacy course and admission in Jadavpur University

Diploma and BSc Holders:

• Candidates will apply for admission in the first year of engineering program, if seats are available in the first year and vacancies in the second year (lateral entry).

WBJEE JELET 2022 Application Form:

The application form will also be released by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board through online mode. Those who meet the eligibility criteria will fill the application form. Upload all the eligibility details, contact details, documents etc. to avoid any hassle later. Submit the duly filled application form before the last date.

WBJEE JELET Admission Process:

The admission process consisted of the following steps:

• Fill the application form
• Download admit card
• Appear in the exam
• Declaration of result
• Counseling

1. Fill the application form: Fill the application form using the online mode. It is important to fill all the details in the application form carefully and correctly. However, the subsequent application form is provisional for improvement.
2. Download Admit Card: Download Admit Card using login credentials. It is important to carry the admit card to appear in the examination hall.
3. Appear in the exam: Those who have got the admit card will appear in the exam in the month of June.
4. Result Declaration: The result will be declared in offline mode through the official website. Results will not be shared via email or post.
5. Counseling: Those who qualify for the examination will appear for the counseling process. Counseling will be started through online mode. The consultation process will include registration, choice filling, seat allocation, document verification and fee payment.

Exam Pattern:

Exam pattern includes marble distribution, number of questions, subject names, total number of questions, total marks, subject name and more. Check the complete exam pattern given below:

• The question paper will contain 100 objective type questions.
• The candidate will get two hours to complete the paper.

For Diploma holders in Engineering and Technology: Candidates are required to prepare from the prescribed diploma course of West Bengal State Technical Education Council. Check the topics given below:

For holders of Diploma in Pharmacy: Diploma level syllabus in pharmacy is to be prepared as prescribed by Pharmacy Council of India.

Steps to check the result:

3. Login with registration number and password
4. Click on ‘Submit’ button
5. The rank card will appear on the new screen
6. View score and save it for future use

Merit list:

Five different merit list will be released based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance examination.

• Merit list for holders of diploma in engineering and technology excluding printing and agricultural engineering
• For Diploma holders in Printing Technology
• For Diploma holders in Agricultural Engineering
• For holders of diploma in pharmacy

Break the tie: If two or more applicants score the same marks in an examination, in such cases the merit will be on the basis of order of preference:

• In all subjects of JELET 2022, the candidate tried to give less wrong answer.
• Preference will be given to older candidates

Consultation:

The counseling schedule or seat allocation will be announced only after the result announcement through the official website. Those who are eligible to apply for the counseling process will participate in the counseling. Since the counseling will be planned according to the rank of the candidate, it is advisable to attend for counseling on a specific date / day / time. Candidates have to appear for counseling on specific allotted schedule. Also, it is mandatory to present along with the original and photocopy documents for the purpose of verification. No other candidate is allowed to appear for counseling on behalf of the candidate.
