eligibility criteria:

  • Class VI – Until March 31, 2022, only boys of 10-12 years of age can apply for admission.

  • Six months relaxation in upper age limit for sons of personnel killed in action
  • To get admission in sixth grade, no previous education qualification is mandatory.
  • To apply for class IX, the candidate must have successfully passed class VIII from a government / recognized school. Students studying in class VIII can also apply for the entrance examination.
  • Candidates will undergo medical examination in military hospitals designated by the Director General of Medical Services before getting admission and those who are medically fit want to take admission.

Reservation of vacancies:

  • 70% of the seats will be ahead of JCO / OR Army, Navy and Air Force (including ex-servicemen).
  • 30% seats will be for Army, Navy and Air Force officers (including retired officers) and civilian wards.
  • 50 seats will be reserved for the service personnel wards killed.

Exam Pattern:

  • In the month of December 2022, there will be a Common Entrance Test (CET) to get admission in classes VI and IX.
  • Candidates who have applied for Class VI will prepare in subjects like Intelligence, General Knowledge, Mathematics and English.
  • Candidates who have applied for the ninth grade will prepare from subjects like English, Hindi, Social Science, Mathematics and Science.

Admit Card, Interview and Results:

Those who clear the CET successfully will go for interview in the respective national military schools. The final merit list will be released after the interview. Admit card and result will be provided through the official website
