Eligibility Criteria for PGP:

  • The candidate should be a graduate and have a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. However, a percentage of 45% is accepted for applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Separately Abled (DA) or Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category.
  • Those who are in the final year of their graduation or have some equivalent qualification examination and who have completed the degree requirements but can wait for the result. In such a scenario, the applicant has to show the certificate that the candidate is in the final year and is waiting for the final results and has obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent. Eligibility Criteria for PGP-FABM:

Candidate should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in agricultural science or agriculture related subjects with minimum 50% marks. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) and separately Abled (DA) category should get 45% marks.


Candidate should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any non-agricultural subject from university or institute or with a degree of equivalent qualification. Applicants should be interested in agriculture, food, rural and allied sectors.

Eligibility Criteria for FPM:

Candidate should have successfully completed post graduation with minimum 55% marks in any discipline, Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks after completion of higher secondary schooling (10 + 2) or equivalent and minimum three% education. / Equivalent qualification.


The applicant must have done a five / four-year integrated master’s degree program in any discipline, with a minimum of 55% marks after completing higher secondary schooling or equivalent.


Candidate should have professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with minimum 55% marks.


Candidate should have a 4-year / 8-semester bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade point average.

Eligibility Criteria for PGPX:

  • The candidate should have graduated in any discipline or equivalent.
  • The minimum age of the candidate should be 27 years as on 31 March of the year in which the PGPX program commences.
  • Applicant must have a valid GMAT / GRE scorecard.
  • The candidate should have 4 years of full-time experience after completing graduation.

Eligibility Criteria for EPGP:

  • Professionals and entrepreneurs working with a minimum of 3 years can apply for a full-time experience course after graduation
  • The minimum age of the candidate should be 24 years
  • Candidates with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA awarded by any recognized university must be Graduates / CA / ICWA.

IIM Ahmedabad Admission Procedure:

For PGP Program: The admission process is a two-stage process:

  1. The first phase is started by IIM for CAT (or GMAT) examination.
  2. After successfully clearing the cut-off and Composite Score (CS), the applicant will be called for the Academic Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview (PI).
  3. The candidate will be finalized on the basis of FCS (Final Composite Score).

For PGP-FABM Program: The admission process is a two-stage process:

  • The candidate must first appear for the CAT or GMAT exam.
  • After clearing the cut-off, the candidate will be shortlisted for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

For PGPX Program: The admission process is a two-stage process:

  • The candidate should appear for the GMAT exam.
  • The marks obtained in the GMAT exam are displayed along with the rest of the application and the shortlisting will be one based on the application.
  • The shortlisted candidates will then submit essays and appear for the interview rounds.
  • The final merit list will be prepared after the interview.

For EPGP program:

Candidates will appear for CAT exam or GMAT exam and those shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in CAT / GMAT will be called for personal interview.
