The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the UPSC Exam Calendar 2021 on 17 August 2020. As per UPSC calendar, IAS 2021 exam notification will be published on 10 February 2021. After the notification is released, candidates can start filling the IAS form immediately. .

Only graduate candidates who meet the age limit criteria are eligible to fill the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) form. The Civil Services Examination will be conducted in three phases.

  • StageI: IAS Preliminary Examination
  • Stage II: IAS Mains Exam
  • StageIII: personal interview

IAS 2021 Eligibility Criteria

the nationality: Only Indians are eligible to apply for the UPSC IAS Exam.

IAS 2021 Age Limit (till 1 August 2021): The age of the candidate should be between 21 years to 32 years. She should not be born before 2 January 1987 and later on 1 January 1998.

Educational Qualifications: The candidate should have graduated from any recognized university.

Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can fill the UPSC IAS 2021 application form from 10 February 2021. UPSC Civil Services Exam consists of 3 stages which we have already discussed. Candidates have to prepare general studies for IAS Preliminary Examination and main candidates have to prepare optional subject and language. UPSC Preliminary Examination is an objective type examination whereas IAS main has subjective type of questions.

UPSC will issue separate admit cards for each phase. The admit card for the IAS exam will be issued 3-4 weeks before the commencement of the examination.
