General Entrance Exam Eligibility: For All For those deserving students who are willing to make their career in government jobs, we want to tell you that now the government has made it mandatory for all applicants to appear for the Common Entrance Test. The government will conduct general prelims exam for non-gazetted posts in the central government. The government has decided to conduct a (CET) In place of preliminary examination for all government departments. The examination scores are used by various organizations for selected candidates for the posts to select applicants for higher levels of examination.

The test score will be applicable for a period of three years and will be conducted twice a year. This is going to help all the candidates of the government, as there will be no need to fill different applications for different examinations and they will have to prepare for the same exam now.

NRA CET 2021: latest update

According to the latest statement of the Union Minister of State, the Common Eligibility Test will be conducted from September 2021. The candidates who get at least 2.5 crore jobs across the country are likely to benefit from the (CET) examination conducted by (NRA) to fill the vacant posts by various government departments.

• The exam will be conducted in 12 languages.
• The score is valid for three years.
• The examination will be held twice a year.

Examination for appearing in the examination under CET

All the preliminary examinations for Group B and C posts will include a single (CET). The National Recruitment Agency will initially aim to replace the preliminary examinations conducted by three government agencies:

• Staff Selection Commission (SSC),
• Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), and
• Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS).

NRA CET 2021: Score Used by

The CET score is very important in getting jobs whether it is government, PSU jobs, or a private job. According to the statement at the press conference, the CET score will be used not only by the state and central government, but also (PSUs) and private organizations. Other than SSC, IBPS and RRB using CET scores are the authority bodies:

• State Recruitment Agencies,
• Agencies of various Union Territories,
• Public sector undertakings and
• Private companies (with some agreements)

CET 2021: Eligibility Criteria

• Eligibility criteria include undergraduate, 12th passed and 10th grade students.
• There will be 3 levels of examination, undergraduate, 12th level examination and 10th level examination.

NRA CET 2021: Age Limit

• The age limit will depend on the test they wish to appear.
• There is no change in the age limit of the exam.
• Age relaxation will vary for different categories
